Atlantic Cape Community College held a ground breaking recently for a new $10.3 million Student Success and Career Planning Center to promote student retention and graduation. The 20,000 square-foot, two-story building will consolidate career planning services and provide students with a central place to gather with easy access to the newly renovated cafeteria.
During their first semester at the college, students will be required to complete a career planning process. The new facility will be linked to the college’s Student Success Initiative which also includes an honors program and programs to reduce the amount of time spent in remedial classes.
The project is funded through the New Jersey Building Our Future Bond Act and Atlantic County. Completion date is Spring 2018.
